coolant leak at rear of motor

i need some advice here, ive been under the hood of my car for a few weeks now fixing this and that, well after installing the atkins 6thport inserts and installing my lower intake manifold i saw coolant puddling up at the rear coolant hose coming out of the rear plate up to the throttle body. i removed the hose, cleaned the rust off the part coming out of the motor and reinstalled the hose and clamp. still leaking pretty quick. Im thinking of replacing the coolant hose with a new one and clamp and seeing if that fixes it, but has anyone else delt with this? i dont mind eliminating the hose if i could i dont really need the coolant going through the throttle plate or anything. tips tricks or fix??
