Windshield Wiper Malfunction
Hello experts,
My vert has had this problem for a while. The wiper switch is down to ONE speed only - low....no fast, no intermittent. It's all together with the hazard and the vert open/close control. I thought it was the switch so I bought another one (used) and plugged it in. Same thing - one speed ONLY.
Either the replacement is bad too OR it's something else altogether. Maybe it's the motor itself. Maybe I should have bought a NEW SWITCH at $250.... kinda steep if you ask me...
Any advice out there.........???

This is a VERY common problem. If you search the forum you will find more info. Better yet, go to Icemarks web site (http://www.mazdamark.com/) for more information. He has info on how to repair the switch yourself or you can just purchase a refurbished unit from him for a reasonable price.

yeah its ruff finding a good working switch and doing it yourself can be tough. I found this site where the switch is 265 but if you send them your old switch back they give you 150 bucks back and it comes out to about 115 dollars which isn't to bad and it has a warranty.
