Window Visors

hey everyone, i just picked up a set of window visors for my fc, but when i put them on they seem sorta flimsy. they just dont seem to be attached very solid, so i was just wondering if anyone else had this issue and how you fixed it.
Thanks guys

As long as you've got all the clips in there, they wont go anywhere. I've gone on the highway with both windows open and they've held up well.

How do they mount? The little metal clips get pushed up into the window seal?

Yep. The hooks go up into the channel where the glass goes.

they are flimsy. i had new ones and they are slowly disintegrating. i imagine all new window channels would help. i did replace the right side. i didnt replace the window channel on the left side and whenever the window is slightly down and the door gets closed the window glass smacks the visor. a little piece has now broken out of the top rear corner. also where the clips are riveted develops hairline cracks that get worse. i have used expoxy with limited success to strengthen the area around the clips. Im sure if i garaged the car to keep the U.V. off and it wasn't my daily driver they might have lasted longer

also unless the window channels are new it can be difficult to get the windows up past the visor when at freeway speed.

I have the same problem at highway speeds as you, R.E.wing FC3s, but I've managed to deal with it by popping the sunroof open first, then close then window.

I got them from Circuit Theory here on the forum, but RHDJapan offers them on their site for about the same price I paid.

yeah without the new window channel the window can bow out to much from the air pressure. .mine have lasted probably 2 years. and i thought i was being pretty careful with them.
