I too have a question.. If two relays are needed per switch wouldnt the drivers door need four relays for both the switches on that side?

from what i understood, you put the relay on the winow motor harness. hence 2relays for each side. Although i'm still not sure to have correctly understood the installation...

Yes I understand 2 are also on the pass. side but when you activate it from the drivers switch wouldn't the full passengers power be going through the switch?

No, only the current necessary to trigger the relays would go through the switch.

Just to throw this out there...

Directed Electronics Door Lock Interface 451M - Best Buy

I use these at work to do lock and unlock with vehicles with "5 wire" systems. The same rules apply, as you are just doing polarity reversal. For example...

Relay Diagrams - Door Locks - 5 Wire Alternating 12 Volts Positive

Just remove lock and unlock with up and down in the last diagram.

Also, if you do the relays all on the driver side door, there is still no current going through the passenger switch. The passenger side switch works trough the driver side switch. First of all, how can an switch assembly that is normally open be passing current? The passenger switch actually feeds from the driver door, via the pesky on and off button from the driver side. This means that the 12v for the passenger window switch is actually pulled from the backside of the driver side switch, and also means, the passenger window switch works by going across the car instead of having its own 12v accessory wire on the passenger side. This is also the reason why the passenger window will ALWAYS roll up slower than the driver side if you hit both switches at the exact same time.

I'm thinking about something else that would better suit my needs.
For this i need some extra plug for the window switches.

As such, i'm looking for the 7 pins (driver side) and 5 pins (pass side) connectors (both male and female):
Example driver side:

Anybody know the model of the connector?

These are Korea Electric Terminal 118PA series connectors. FCs use these in a lot of places. The 5-pin one is used for the AAS switches. I'm looking for a source for them now.
