Question will this swap work?

Hey first post.. dont know much about rx7 right now because ive been followin other cars (supra's, eclipses).
I want to know if a 20b engine will fit in a 89-92 RX7 turbo with little effort, and will bolt up to the stock tranny. I was saving for a supra and dont want to wait another 2 yrs to save 25 grand, so ive decide to try and buy a 2g rx7 turbo with a bad engine but good body and tranny and try something new.

that info was very usefull, thanks alot!

well thats very pricey.. like 10000 for parts and prbably another 5000 for labor.. is there any other options that might be better involving a differant j-spec motor? i can only spend up to 10000 right now.

DAMN White Seven. Your car got hella sexy pretty quick!
I'm still not done my conversion. Waiting for my turbo and injectors from being rebuilt and cleaned.

I did get the Wiriing harness alt stuff figured out though.

FD is 93+ rx7.....

for $10k you can get to 400hp outa the stock engine easy... it's alot more then 99.9% of people need.

there is no need to swap engines. just rebuilt it and bolt on some parts

rebuild huh.. well im left with a delema.. i could that my eclipse make it manual and at the same time use a racing tranny.. and drop it into a 2g body...

or do the rx7 route.. but im concerned on the rx7 reliabilty with high miles. and 400 hp is about what im going for for a track car i want to race at lime rock. Thse tien He coil over and shocks look so nice. anyways... how long do these things last?
