Arrow Will This intake work?

I was checking this intake out... I know it is for an FD but I thought that if I reverse the long pipe and short pipe it would work on my FC... It is an '89 N/A... I know that I woul have to figure out something with the air pump connection but that wont be hard... Any opinions on wheather this will work or not?

I know its cheap but I just wanted the tubing mainly...

youll have put your AFM in there somewhere, and its a bit of a gamble on whether or not you can twist and move the pipes the make them work. also the air "fitler" is probably junk. look at some other cold air intakes people have made before you buy this one. theres even one in the archive i think. most the ones for the FC are pretty simple, a straight(ish) pipe that bends down under the headlight is pretty common and not very complicated.

Yeah... I just wanted the pipe... Not the Filter... The AFM can go between the long pipe and the short curved pipe... I will search for the homemade intakes on here later...

Waste of money, the factory air box draws air from in front of the rad already! Just buy a drop in K&N panel filter. Been there done that, save some money.

That thing is only about $30 shipped... I am not necessarily looking for a power gain so much as I am looks... I know that the MAF will prevent too much of a power gain... Just so I dont lose power I am happy... But my original intended question is if you think it will actually fit in my car if I swap the positions of the long pipe and the short pipe... I am not real familiar with the FD so I dont know how an intake for the FD would go together...

just get the 93-96 prelude kit off of ebay. good amounts of pipng and you can cut it perfectly so you can use the bends. plus even if there isnt a power gain, it still looks better than the box.
