Will the "ATF trick" ruin the O2 sensor?

Will the "ATF trick" ruin the O2 sensor?
Seeing that the atf will ruin plugs almost instantly; i'm guessing the o2 sensor would be fouled up as well. Anybody ever check it?

I have both a air/fuel meter and the factory O2 sensor and didn't have any problems.

nope
I asked the same thing to Ari yallon at rx7.com and he said it will not harm the 02 sensor at all.
