Will 2nd Gen 13B Gauges work on 1st Gen 12A Engine?

Will 2nd Gen 13B Gauges work on 1st Gen 12A Engine?
I have my Rail Buggy built and almost ready to go. 12A rotary mated to a VW transaxle. I'm looking for gauges for it to monitor it's "vitals". I know I should get some after market stuff like water temp and stuff but I can get the whole instrument cluster from a 2nd Gen for $40. It has fuel, water temp, speedo, tach, oil pressure, etc. Will the guages work with the 12A's senders?
