It just starting doing this the other day.
It will surge like it loses all power around 2000 rpm. Doesnt seem to matter what gear, happened the most in 2nd so far but I think it did it in 4th once too. It does not happen often. On the drive to school and back (around 15 mins each way) itll happen like 2 times. I have no idea what this could be. Seems like it could be a fuel problem. I know it needs a fuel filter. Anyone?

 

it doesnt really sound like a fuel filter problem, but a fuel filters always a good maintenance item anyways, especially since you would not want to find yourself running lean
