Wierd Problem With Hesitation

Hey guys i have a 88 N/A GXL
I didnt drive the car for about 2 days and i got this wierd hesitation from 4500- 6000 rpm , its like its choking the thing is im running autolike cheap plugs for trailing since i havent had enough time to pick up my new plugs from napa, it goes away then comes back , runs fine for a min or so then comes back what could it be, could it be the filter or the plugs?, or could it be something worse ?

oh and i recently installed one of those ractive cone filters, im running 87 octane gas , it doesnt seem to be a mechanical problem since it goes away and doesnt happen at low rpms . any ideas?

Problem seems to have fixed, i replaced those crappy autolite plugs with used NGK BUR9EQ from pick n pull , already runs better. Im going to go and replace my fuel filter sometime this week also, now my question is can crappy spark plugs really do that?

adjust your TPS, that has a big factor too. search in the 2nd gen on how to adjust it. that'll probably solve 89% of your hesitation problems. if all else fails, clean all your ground wires. this has been covered A LOT of times.

thanks , my fault for not seeing that, would the TPS be in fault for hesitating while playing with the throttle?
