widebody fenders from corksport?

i was looking at these fenders from corksport, if the link does not take you there it is under the 2nd gen parts/other/ and then about the 6th item down the page. the pic is a white fender with a hole carved out behind the wheel. i was curious if anybody had any pics of these fenders on a car i would hate to buy them and find out they look like crap imo, if anybody knows of any pics or has them on their car please post them, thanks for the help

I think that the flared fenders look kinna bad on FC's. They screw up an almost-straight body line that the car has...but thats just MHO.

If I were wanting the fenders to extend further, I would do this (I have done this on my previous seven but not on any of my current cars)...take and make a 4"X2"X1/8" plate that will bolt to the bottom of the fender and then to the body. It puts a gap right in front of the doors but outside of this it looks decent and it extends the fender another 1.25" over the front wheels.

I asked them if they had any other pics awhile back and they indicated they didn't. Still been eyeing these myself as I think the lines are subtle enough to pull it off. No offense, but I think it would be easier to destroy the lines of the FC w/ a big gap between the door and fender than w/ a slightly wider fender that fits properly. But then again, I don't know how well these things look, so take that w/ a grain of salt.

Anyway, you might ask Corksport again if they have any pics. They seemed to reply to my emails fairly well.

hey I'm going to corksport right now!! I think Ben has the fenders on his car and it looks pretty good. I know for sure he's got their front end on there. sorry I'll tell them to put pics of his car on there... just his car doesn't have much work done to it, performance wise so I don' t think they want to use it to advertise with. I'll find out.

I need to replace my front end and was contemplating over these same exact fenders. But I havent seen any pics of them installed either. I dont think I can make a decision like that without knowing what the thing will look like first.

If the stock sideskirts mounted on them, or I could at least get an answer, I'd order them.

ok sorry... Ben only has the front end on his car. and their waiting for the pics to be sent in to them. people that have bought them, have said they would give them pictures of the fenders when they were on; but they haven't gotten them in yet. they're working on it. the front end is pretty good quality, they've got one sitting in there. but I've yet to see the fenders on a car.

Wow, sell a product that they haven't even tried on their own car? Sounds scary.... How do they know it fits okay?

Ahh, my photoshop comes to haunt me! Me and Skippy noticed those on Corksports webpage and were wondering what they'd look like, so I quickly (and not very impressively) photoshopped it onto his vert to see what it'd look like.

I guess I notice the flaws more since I made it, I placed the entire corksport fender over it, instead of just patching in the vent. I kind of like the look, and for fiberglass fenders, they're a damn good price

There's multiple people who have these on... It's just a matter of time before pics go up somewhere.

There's also been a pic posted of a bluish silver car that had the real BN Sports fenders.
