Mount for AFM

When i purchased my intake (Bonez) it came with a mount and filter for the AFM..

ONly one problem, i've been hearing alot of people complain about hesitaion problems with their AFM being mounted sideways. Normally Horizontal with stock intake box. THe way it's mounted has the Flapper Door hanging on a verticle axis... is this correct?

Why would a company make a mount that makes the flapper door hang on a vertical axis when the stock mount is horizontal?

Also, i've tried EVERYthing to get rid of my 3800 Hesitaion... Grounding, cleaning injectors, everything.. and i still get it. So my questions are as followed

1. Bad to have AFM on a vertical axis?
2. PLEASE god, why do i still have 3800 hes.

Thanks. Markus

it should be hanging like it was stock with the black D shaped thing pointing up, not sideways.

I'm pretty sure that the stock mounting location has the black "D" (AFM Cap) on the very bottem of the unit (this is stock) with the Grid looking area point facing upwards.. my grid area is now facing sideways (towards fender) does this make for a performance problem? should the "Grid area" be facing a certain way? (stock it is facing upwards towards sky)

thanks, Markus
