Why you should check out your Pulsation Damper..no it didn't burn down

I finally got off my duff and pulled of the upper intake manifold to finish the installation of my braided fuel lines and the remainder of the rats nest. When I pulled the primary injectors out to get the banjo and PD off the rail, I noticed a rattling sound. Popped the cover off and found the screw had fallen out. Mind you, this car has 45,xxx miles on it and really never leaves the garage. I never noticed a fuel smell or saw it drip, so I don't think I was going to catch on fire, but it could happen. So for anyone that hasn't check your PD, check it ASAP and pull that POS out of the car.

My PD started leaking last December 02 while I was driving to lunch. I ended up smelling smoke so I pulled over, ran into a vietnameese resturaunt and grabbed a water pitcher and put the fire out before much damage occured, however I didn't get the car up and running until feburary. I had to replace countless hoses and all of the oil lines, etc. What a PITA. I should have sold the car right after I got it running, but instead I drove it and now it has a water seal leak. Bitter? Me? Naah. Next time, i'm going to get a cheaper RX7, lemme tell you. 1st gen for me!

Well if you guys need parts, check the forsale section, I got the rats nest, most all of the solinoids (minus the fpr hot start one) and any other emission part you could ask for. Might have harness and sensors coming up as I'm going to be starting my microtech install.
