Somewhere along the this thread we have lost the S-AFC being a key element with Ignition timing. Remember, what was originally asked?

Yes, silver rotor, go ahead and advance. S-AFC controls the a/f ratio, timing controls when the a/f is combusted.

Anyone who has smoke out the exhaust has some bigger issues to worry about. I don't get any smoke from any of my engines ported or not.
This is the same "god" whose butt dyno has proven to be an amazingly accurate tuning device.

Stop posting this bullshit unless you can back it up with a dyno run. Anytime you add extra fuel, you decrease power by making it run rich. It doesn't take a deity to figure that out...

What's your problem Scathcart? Do you think I don't read this? I never started **** with you. You started flaming me. Who said my butt dyno was an accurate device? I never did. All of YOU guys said that not me. Anytime you add fuel on a car that is running TOO RICH you lose power. The S4's run LEAN!!! The S5's run rich. I have an S4. I'm sick and tired of everyone screaming about no dyno runs. If you don't believe it then DON"T DO IT. Pure and simple. How did this get posted here anyways?

If you want to get on my case about being called Rotarygod then maybe you should know how I got the name. It was given to me a few years ago by a very dear RX-7 friend after I found a simple problem with his car that no one else found. No big deal. I keep the name as a tribute to him. He died last December of Cancer.

Sorry to the rest of you who had to read this useless bullshit! It doesn't take a diety to be dignified does it?

Careful, don't adjust too much! Your pistons will hit the valves, and you'll damage the timing belt!!!

You will be dogged at every turn you make on here.
A dyno run will prove or disprove your mods.&nbsp It's that's simple.&nbsp So why not do it and get the monkey off your back?

Stuff like this ends up sounding like a whiney cry from you.

Do you even have to ask who I side with in this one...

My problem is you making all these bs claims without any proof.

"Did you know the motor will run better if you pee into the intake tract? It makes sense, because ammonia in urine would clean the intake runners and make more power! I have no proof of this, but you should all believe me!"
See how dumb this sounds?

Fact: Posted dyno runs, and dyno runs I have seen have shown stock fueling of the S4 RX-7's to be rich. Prove it otherwise with a fully stock dyno run with a wideband, or don't make such rediculous claims.

Fact: Running lean makes more power anyway (to a point), so your comment about them running lean and adding more fuel to make more power makes no sense anyway.

I won't do it (your recommendations) to my car or anyone elses, and I will continue to deface your illogical posts in attempt to save everyone else into detsroying theirs.

Tell me... how can you possibly continue to post this stuff when tuner after tuner and guru after guru has shot you down, using already proven facts?

And silverrotor... go ahead and adjust the timing.
