WHY GOD WHY!!! boost is now BAD?

Well I got the car running finally. I have the tps adjusted to the best of my ability. But now I have a new problem. When ever I try to drive the car. As soon as it goes into boost it acts like its hitting fuel cut. The car bogs and sputters. Any boost above 0. Why? Anyone had anything similar happen? I searched but I cant find anyone with a similar problem. This aint even right. I get it running all eager and happy now I cant even enjoy my turbo car.

To elaborate on the previous post, can you boost below 3800 rpm?

My point here being, if he can generate boost below 3800, then the boost cuts above 3800, the secondaries would be a definate suspect.

Otherwise, I would suspect a vac leak. I have seen this type of symptom from a vac leak.

No, no boost below 3800. I can take off down the street in first gear fine cause boost doesnt build under light conditions in first, second gear however is when the problem shows it self. As soon as the gauge hits 1psi it sputters and doesnt want to move any faster. I think the small hose from the bac to the BOV adapter is the suspect. Think is the word though. I've checked the lines from the OMP injectors, side of the LIM, FPR, and the other. They seem fine. the one from the brake booster is fine as well. All the vaccuum lines from the boost sensor, bov, gauge, and the the UIM are fine also. I replaced the fuel injector seals recently is it possible they could be leaking? how could I tell or make sure they're sealed properly? And last but not least, Am I missing anything to check?

Do you have the restrictor pill in the MAP sensor line?

If your wiring harness is old and brittle (more than likley) it could be the harness grounding out. mine was doing that same thing as yours, it was right at the injector clips the harness wires were touching it causing it to ground out the secondaries. you may have to pull the tape off a little bit to make sure all is good. good luck

put it in third at 3000rpm and floor it and you *should* get boost before 3800.

can you ease it above 3800rpm and stomp on it and the same thing happens? that would be your secondaries.

kinda sounds like vacuum leak and secondaries, though.

*********Huh?************************

It's a small plastic orifice put in the vacuum line b/t the pressure sensor and the intake manifold. It's shoved inside the vacuum line about an inch from the end. It acts like a damper for the pressure sensor.

Can you gingerly drive your car up to say, 6000 and not have the current problem?? Gingerly means no boost and easing your way to 6000.

Do you have an answer for 150FC???
