i think this is the answer. i had a sim prob and it fixed it self when i flushed the rad and bled the system...dont forget to bleed the system it took me almost a week to figure that one out........

Evans boils at 375F, making it virtually impossible to overheat. I got Evans on my FC and my temps went up a little (or it might have been from summer, who knows). I recently went on a drive up Big Bear on a very hot day. My temp was very high, but I didn't overheat. An RX-8 did overheat. Someone blamed his front license plate, though I have a front plate too. Yeah, it is expensive, but you never have to change your coolant again, so it gets easier/cheaper later. I searched and asked on the forums and basically the nay sayers make up stuff that might happen but those that have it like it and never mention any problems with it. Still, I'd fix your cooling problem first.

Getting air out:
Easy way: Lisle 22150 - Spill-free radiator funnel kit
http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/lis22150.html
Insert funnel. Put a quart of coolant in the funnel (above funnel neck). Start engine. Wait a few minutes. Done.
Hard, uncertain way: See FAQ.

Fixed mine! Allright, so I was using the stock gauge to determine water temp and it was fubar apparently. I swapped in a cluster from my parts car and voila! My temp is normal. Also, my voltage went back to normal which is wierd... I even double checked it with a DMM at the battery terminals before and after. I didn't think the gauge cluster had any effect on alternator output...
