If you have 'mad skillz' on shifting 'yo', then you can take him no prob. If he has opened up his intake and exhaust with a good filter, and header/exhaust system, and you only have an intake cone...then he'll take you since all he has to do is slam on the gas, and he takes off. You're standard though, you gotta watch your rpm, and drop it right and shift reallllllyyyy well. If you can do this, then you guys will be pretty much even. If you get headers, he's yours up and down, all around town baby.

What do you have and mods? If the Cavi is a 95+ Z24...it can be a close race depending of the conditions of your car.

Z24
2.3(95) 2.4(96+)
160Hp
Quad4
Speed limiter @ 110

I've heard of auto with some mods doing 15.9 in the 1/4 mile!

If its a 2.2 forget about it, ask him to fill your tank before racing him!!!

it's a 99 non z34 as far as I can tell
it is the auto though
he has a header,17|" rims, and a cone filter from what he says.
he claims to have beaten a prelude though I dont know how fast they are or if he is lying.

right now my mods include just the filter, the header "should" be on tue of next week.
my car is the 87 N/A sport. as for shifting I do so at right after the buzzer hits so around 6900-7000 rpms. I know I chirp them in 2nd and get decent squat in third.
this is with the stock 205's all around

though I think I have a cat that is working against me. been running rich for quite some time so I am sure I have lots of carbon build up

as for the 97 mustang the guy took me for a ride today. I would win.
the 92 RS I beat by about 1 car from a 0-65 race going on the freeway.
