Corksport, they sell a kit to adapt the 99+ FD RZ rears to our cars. It does require that you turn down the hubs to make them fit into the rotors though.

From the link it looks like this is basically what the Corksport kit is. There's even a pic of the guy grinding down the hub flange.

The 99+ RZ stuff is bigger than standard 93-95 FD stuff.

Yes. That's why I said "basically" and not "exactly."

Using the standard FD stuff means replacement rotors would be easier to get a hold of, though.

We (CorkSport) don't have any problem getting ahold of them for you, but I guess you wouldn't really be able to wander down to Autozone or anything.

I would have no problem ordering them. Are you able to let us know how much they are? And besides the hub grinding, is there other grinding involved?

I'll get you a price on the rotors ASAP, but the hub grinding is the only grinding involved. The only reason you have to do it is the interior of the rotor hat is a little small for FC hubs.

cheap angle grinder will do

keep us updated on the brackets i jus want brackets.. my car had single piston brakes but i already swapped the front to 4 piston, and picked up some of the rear vented calipers, so since i need the vented rear rotors anyways, id just like to step up in size, fill in my rims etc..

The proper way to do that would be to put it on a lathe, that way it'll stay balanced.

That totally depends on how much has to be removed, and how good you are with a grinder. If .5 oz 9 inches from the center of the hub is within spec, I would think the threshold to be a lot higher at 2.5 inches from the center.

That being said, I would take it to my machine-shop friend and have him slice it down proper.
