what goes here on my s5 radiator?

my radiator dosent look stock its a 90 gtu and the rad is black and looks newer but on the very bottom of the radiator there are 2 pipes on both sides and i dont know whats plugs into them i cant find any thing in the fsm

these pipes are very small maybey 1/2 inch diamite?r

He means "IF" you had an auto there would something that would attach there. YOur rad is prob a cheap reman. But they work fine.

should i plug up the holes then? im just running it stock n/a but it dosent appear that anything has ever been attached to them will they leak?

not now becasue im doing a rebuild but before it had coolent and they wernt blockoff or anything

Those two fittings are indeed for the auto trans cooler.
They are not part of the regular rad matrix...when you add coolant to the rad nothing will come out of those fittings, so you can ignore them (or put caps on 'em for aesthetics if you want).
