I have a few questions about the racing beat presilencer.


first of all, does it make the car a lot quieter???

I hope not because i want it LOUD.

second, if i have the racing beat headers do i have to have the RB presilencer?? will my 5th and 6th ports not open w/out it???

its called a preSILENCER for a reason. I have one and the car is quiet. The car sounds nice and at WOT its kind of loud. The silencer has a tube for you to connect that "backpressure" pipe. If you hook that up, your ports should keep on working. If you want LOUD then dont get the silencer and just get a pipe to go in its place. Your ports will stop working and you will have to remove them or wire them open.

I have one but I put it on when I put on my header.My current setup is not that loud at idle or just cruising with light throttle but get on it and it is pretty loud.To me it doesn't seem to bad but I have been told by other people that they can hear my car fo a long time when I leave.Not really an answear but with a header it won't be real quiet.

I have the whole racing beat system with pre silencer.

First, loud cars suck ***. But that's my opinion. Well, if you have a an old ss camaro or something then loud is okay. But a loud rx-7 is like a farting lawn mower. The RB presilencer does make it sounds good when you hit above 3000. sounds like a turbine.

Yes, all your ports will open. You'll find that it has all the low end torque you need, and then some.

if you want to hear what it sounds like, heres a video of my car idling after i just started it up. I have the RB presilencer with RB catback. Keep in mind, its ported, so its louder than normal. But overall, its super quiet.
