The turbo turbine housing.

Just wanted some feedback on this before I did it. Thanks.

I *believe* he ported the runners after he rebuilt his motor and ported the WG.

Alright, I did. Thanks.

I ported my wastegate already. I am just worried if I port that, maybe I won't build boost as quick since the exhaust is getting out quicker or something. Just wanted to know exactly what it does, good and bad(if anything).

same here i was also wondering this?
The way it seems to me that it would spool more quickly and have a higher top end but i am not certain about that! i think that boost creep would be especially bad with this mod! No?

i did not actually port the runners on the turbo. Although I did go through a lot of trouble, I think I am just going to tune the stock turbo to a reliable 220 or so until I get a t04 or something bigger. I did do a mild streetport. It seems like my low end torque is a lot less than it would be stock. Also, the turbo seems as though it spools a lot slower. Like you mentioned in the post, I think this is from the exhaust ports being larger which slows down the velocity of the exh. gas thus spooling the turbo slower. I am new to the turbo scene so I hope this makes sense.

i ported mine a bit, but haven't ran her yet. hopefully it did not affect spool up too much as its only ported a little. did you notice any power gains from the mod in the higher end?

Since it's my page... *grin*

I did that as an experiement a while back.&nbsp It's hard to tell if there was any significant change in power, but it did not hurt power delivery significantly either.&nbsp It was more to optimize the exhaust flow of the turbine...

If it wasn't explicit, the twin-scroll has been removed at the same time.
