beat this:$3250 for an immaculate '91 gxl with every optional feature. everything works. everything looks like new. 120k on the tach and 25k on a rebuilt motor. it was babied by a hard core rotary enthusist (we pulled it out of the garrage next to his amazing FD) who just wanteed to sell it fast. and get this. it came with 17"ten spoke enkies wraped in basicaly brand newkumho 712s and even had a full racing beat exhaust that shoots dual six inch flames because it has no cat. About $2000 in aftermarket stuff on a car i would have paid $4500 for bone stock!

I just bought an '86 GXL from a little old lady in OB (Ocean Beach) who bought it new. She managed to put 61K mi on it over the last 17 years. The best part: she put sheep skin seat covers on it 16 years ago so the seats are in PERFECT condition (silver car, gray leather int) and she not only used a car cover religiously...but she also garaged it w/ the car cover so the origional paint is in Perfect condition. The only downside: it's an automatic. I paid $3,500 for it and I think I made out like a bandit considering how mint the entire car is.

I got my 87 T2 for $3500 in San Diego. Get this the guy had 3 89-91 T2!! I begged him to sell me the all black 91 T2 but he wouldn't. He say's "they all have problems and I wouldn't feel good selling a car that has compression problems, but I got a bone stock 43,000 mile 87 T2. I looked under the hood and it was very clean original engine that he said he bought from a doctor. Going back to No-Cal was fun as hell!!!

Compared to you guys, I got raped. '
'88 GXL 2+2 with every option, minus leather seats (blue cloth). Has a Mazda remanufactured engine with 14K on it now, and 137K on the body. All hoses replaced, radiator, spark plugs, wires, etc. $1000 custom exhaust. Resprayed over dents, some runs, but is very bright white. Paid $2600 with a $500 trade in (dealership, I had no money). Put on a strut bar, 3 inch intake since then. Nice little car, not very fast though... I don't see a lot of RX7s in my area, in fact I've only seen 2 in the past 2 months.

$3300 for an 89' TII with new speakers, and a nice as hell cd player....100k miles original, 9k miles on a rebuilt engine....everything that would usually go at 100k miles replaced...only problem is some paint chipping on the hood, but it started out at $3700 so my dad talked them down to $3300 so he's going to pay for a paintjob

well...i didnt read all 8 pages of this damn thing but this is pretty hard to beat. i came across my 86 gxl in this old mans back yard where it had been sitting for 7 years in a car port, out of the weather. i knocked on the door and asked him about it, and he said he didnt want it and they had been trying to get rid of it. it had been his daughters, but she had stopped paying on it a while ago and the car had liens on it still, but that if i wanted it, just to get rid of the thing, he would pay the liens off, and pay for a wrecker to come tow it to my house. i went and got a duplicate title for it....no liens. it appears that she had filed bankruptcy, and the car was chalked up as a loss. i went back and before i could say anything the guy had decided that he would give me 500 bucks on what she still owed on the lien (hehe), and pay for the tow, i agreed that after that we would call it even. so that day i called my buddy, who owns a tow truck, and towed it to my house....lol.

i think $-500.00 is pretty hard to beat, lol.

I got an 88 gxl from my friends mom for $200. She could not get it to start. I took and home and got it started but am guessing it needs a rebuild beacuse it has no power at all and is a pain to start.

Got an 88 se for 900 bucks and an 87 t2 with no engine for 800...but the t2 came with 5-way adjustable tokicos, 5-point harnesses and a cosmo fuel pump....killer deal...

Unfortunately some jackass stole my hood...!! But, I scored another t2 hood for $20!!

Now I need a motor for it....

paid $500 for my 87 n/a red(not my favorite fc color) chalky paint and a ripped driver seat. I change the seat and about 4 hours of waxing it came to a show room shine. Stock 140k runs mint no damage anywhere.
