Whew! Long week of work summarized ...
My work makes us use our vacation before fiscal year end - March 1st. So this last week I had all week off. Got a LOT of stuff done on the purple beast. Mainly the front suspension. Let's see
- Finally got the mazdacomp front camber plates mounted up, which included machining my Tokico Illuminas to fit. And yes, I did paint the fronts blue. They were all nasty looking, although now I'm thinking I should have painted them like a gunmetal or bronze.
- Mounted the Racing Beat front swaybar and endlinks. Damn that thing is thick!
- Mounted the Brembo rotors front and rear
- Polished my front A-arms and got the bushings pressed in.
- Polished and painted every single nut or bolt that came off the car
- Removed the wheel well liners and painted them, painted fender well - i'm ****.
- Removed the window trims and redid it with thick black electrical tape. Came out great! And saved me about $70.
- Removed the fuel tank and got started planning the fuel system. Now gotta cut out the hatch to make the well for the fuel cell. Then run the -8 line to the front, -6 return.
Then about 1000 other things that I'm to tired to remember. All I know is this thing is prepped! All thats left is the brakes - doing a dual master cylinder setup, fuel system install, and of course the engine. Pics!

Yo,
Damn, you're taking a page out of Seth's and my buddy Dana's playbook! Polish and paint everything! Makes my meager **** retentive attempts seem pathetic. *grin*
Good job!

Yo,
Talk to Seth, SETH! Cymfc3s, he's the one that did all that crap. Same deal, taking things off to repaint, repolish. I know it's a disease, and I've got it too. OCD! *snicker* Actually, we are just gearheads. It comes with the territory.
Hell, I just spent $50 on Italian leather shift boot, and ebrake boots from some guy in POLAND. Yeah, that place in Eastern Europe. Poland.
