Let's see...
Stickers... Underbody neons... Windshield washer nozzle lights... Triple-decker wing...
Ok, now that you know you don't have any of those, start with an exhaust. Is it turbo or N/A?

Always the first place to start is a general tune-up if you haven't already - new spark plugs and wires, change the fuel filter, change the oil, flush the radiator, etc.

As far as performance, easiest first mod is a cone intake. Cheap and takes about 10 minutes to install.

Yeah, dc is right... tune it up, throw on a cone filter, then check out exhaust systems...

Exhaust! It's all about the exhaust. Plugs aren't going to gain you much if any with no other mods. Unless of course you need to replace your current ones anyways. Exhaust will yeild you the most power over any other mod on an N/A, except for Nitrous. Check out www.racingbeat.com or mazdatrix, they offers a nice system too. www.mazdatrix.com

You have four spark plugs on your car. There are two per rotor. One leading one trailing. It has to do with how the combustion chamber in a rotary is shaped. In order to get a good burn it required the use of leading and trailing plugs.

Might want to invest in a haynes manual, or the factory service manual. Hope that helps! Good luck on your car!

Steven

No not monza, you will regret it later. Trust me and those who will surely follow, don't buy monza. Racing beat may be more expensive, but you are paying for a quality, bolt up piece.
