Actually J-rat is on a streetport now. He cracked his rear iron after the wastegate line melted causing an over boost. The thread on his current motor is the first one in the timeslip/dyno section.

A half bridge, from everything I have read (plus talking with Brian/BDC) will help spool the turbo faster at lower rpms. The BNR is definately too small for it though.

And there are various levels of "streetports".
Hi FCKing,
I don't recommend any bridgeport if you are not using a full standalone ECU. In my opinion, the RTek ECU chip change is more efficacious for a stock or street ported engine that's not too radical. Doing a bridgeport pretty much changes everything. What Aaron is saying is basically true -- A BP is not "required" to make power. It is merely another alternative to doing so (even though I feel with the right setup it's got many benefits over a street port).
