I want to finish my exhaust off here...I need a good performance 2.5" Ypipe, and the only one I can find is RB's...does anybody else offer one separately???
Also, I have about $1100 to spend now on my car, what else should be good HP and power mods? I'll already have my exhaust and intake done, now what?

Wet NOS kit.

That would give you on command 50HP gains. Best bang for the buck out there.

I am not looking for a y-pipe (too expensive) but just the y-collector. do you guys know of any that has 2.5" O.D.? RB's one is just 2". My y-collector is failing because I am only getting exhaust from one side of my mufflers.
i have been on this forum ever since you (rotaryman) have been here. i dont mean to flame you or anything, but you SERIOUSLY need to decide wtf you wanna buy for your car. every week its something new you decide to buy, then u dont wanna buy it. i remember 1 time you said you were getting a 3rd gen and giving your 2nd gen to ur dad or something. you have me and everyone else im sure confused to no end.
henrx7, i have two full stock exhausts sittin in my backyard if you want the Y pipe from one of them. its not performance tho.. 1 is stock and the other one is a a midas special. let me know and ill get the impact wrench out and see if those bolts will come off.

hey scott, do they have 2.5" O.D.? i'm not sure if N/A and TII has the same O.D. when it comes to y-pipe. anyway, if the one you got is from an NA, i'll just go to the junkyard and get one. by the way, i don't need the whole y-pipe. i just need part of the y-section of it. maybe about 15" in length. thanks.

I know...
...I change my mind a lot, because a lot of different things keep messing up on my car, lol. I was actually going to get a 3rd gen, and give my 2nd gen to my dad. However, he then told me he wanted to trade his A6 in for the 3rd gen, and I really enjoy the A6, so I told him not to worry about it, I'll get the 3rd gen in Spring. Also, I keep coming into money, but then having a gf and other things at the time sucked money away quickly. Unfortunately, my gf for well over a year decided she didn't need me, thus more money for me, lol...it all worked out
So now, I am trying to get back to what I needed to do in the first place and thats exhaust, clutch, and some other small goodies in between. I hope this "clears" things up a bit. But honestly, who out there doesn't constently change there mind and double or even triple think what to do w/ there money when buying stuff for there 7???
