My modified y pipe done by Garfinkle!

After going non-seq, I had the extra nipples on my y-pipe that I wanted to get welded over. I was talking David Garfinkle about it and he showed me what he did with his y-pipe. I was impressed and asked him to modify mine.

Well to make a long story short, here is my new Garfinkle approved y-pipe. Notice that all nipples are removed and it has been built up where the big nipples used to be. Words can't express how proud I am of this piece. It is by FAR better than I expected!
What do you think???

Oh and if you are thinking that it is a little longer than normal then you'd be correct. It has been extended to fit my BNR stage 3's.

Paul, I'll take some pics of the inside and post them in a little while.
As far as it being the stock pipe, I was going to buy the efini pipe but my engine popped and the new BNR's required a longer pipe. He modified my stock one so I never got around to another y pipe.
I seriously doubt the efini pipe flows better than this one since it has been opened up. Not trying to **** anybody off but I had mine worked on to get rid of the nipples that I had plugged. I'd have done the same thing to the other pipe...

Oh and the price wasn't cheap but well worth it. A lot of welding and machine work went in to it. For a quote I'd have to say call David Garfinkle.

Thats such BS. You haven't even seen a pic of what the inside of the tube looks like so how the hell do you come to this conclusion?

my friend and I do similar work he does the welding I do the sanding shaping and polishing
honestly, davids the only one that I've seen match it and exceed it
he could use some of my secret sauce polishing rouge for the final stage of polishing however ; )

it looks fantastic. I know the efini looks a lot better on the inside and doesnt have an indentation that the stock one has because i looked at it carefully before installing it when I had twins to see wtf the difference was for the money. youll never get that one to flow like the efini and thats without the efini being worked on. But Im sure its very similar within 2-3rw hp so who gives a ****
