Why Jspec?

Do you specifically want a Jspec? If so... why?
It's the exact same as the US-spec engine. The only difference is the Jspec engine doesn't have EGR. The jspec and us-spec 2nd gen engines are the same other than that.

You can get really really good reliable rebuilt engines from RX-7 Specialties in Calgary. www.rotaryengine.ca Very well known for great work and engines and great prices too.

I haven't heard of a place in Vancouver, but I would think there would be one. You can order a Jspec from engine importers such as Corksport for around $800-$1000 usa dollars.

You might get better responses by posting in the Canadian Forum too.

Mainly: price!
There is a place in richmond bc (near van) somewhere that sells them for $850 cdn, but they never know if they're getting a series 4 or s5 or what, or the condition of the mototrs. We've talked about this.
Rx7 specialties also charges for shipping, and you don;t get as much on the engines.
Did Canadian (or usa) TII rx7's have egr's? I didn't think so. Where are they then?
