where to get a j-spec?
Ok guys need some help. I think my motor is blown and I want to know the best(i.e. cheapest) place to get a J-spec motor. I have a 89GTU N/A. I would also like to know what all I have to get to make this into a turbo. Like can I just buy a J-spec turbo motor and ecu together or do I have to swap out all the other sensors and such.
any little bit of knowledge will be greatly appreciated.
thanks

but they have mainly turbos, S4 and S5, dunno about N/As
Im not sure if ECUs are compatible or whatnot
for swap you would need complete T2 drivetrain, well usually, plus fuel probably, and engine and hmm what else. dunno ha, search for it, there is alot more on the subject if you search, maybe even check the archives

thank you for pointing out my jspec mistake. Now I need some real info. I want to know exact details from someone who has done this conversion. I want to know how you set up the wiring, what kind of ecu to use. Can I just use stock and get a piggyback system for it. I need to know fuel pump stuff. The pics of the motors I saw look complete, so no need for new injectors and the like. I also want to move the intercooler to a front mount(don't want to advertise with the hood). I need to be able to upgrade to. I want to be able to beat my Trans Am in the quarter and the autocross track(soloII). 383 stroker, cam, headers, lots more little things.

http://www.corksport.com has em too, but I think the link Node showed is the cheapest, well for a turbo that is...
Only thing i didnt like about www.fc3s.org is that they dont GUARANTEE that the motor will be complete, from turbo ,manifold to oil pan

the 3 gen has sat up so long. It has 4 flat tires and completly rusted over, brake rotors. and it is sitting out on the side of the street in the grass uncovered. the paint is still good, but the pine sap is beginning to do its work on it. I don't think this buy knows what he has. it is a stick also and he said it runs he just does not like it to small. and he said travels alot so he drives his SUV. How much should i offer for it he said it runs. I'm almost sure he'll sell it its just sitting there.
