A j-spec is basically that, a rebuildable core.

Its the equavalent of a JUNKYARD motor. Its a gamble.

Or you can just rebuild yours like how you like... that would be more reasonable probably...

Good J-Spec...lol. Anyway, try Tiger Japanese. You can find a lot of importers just by googling. Regardless of where you buy it, you're gonna have to rebuilt it anyway.

Transmission
The Cosmo 13B-RE bolts onto the stock FC transmission with no problem. The Cosmo 13B-RE only comes with an automatic transmission option, so it will most likely have a counterweight and flexplate attached; if your engine did not come with a counterweight, you can use a Kouki FC3S/FD3S stock flywheel or automatic counterweight. If you are going to use an aftermarket (lightened) flywheel, the automatic counterweight is required. The automatic transmission counterweight makes it easy to install an aftermarket (lightened) flywheel in this case. Be sure to install a new pilot bearing and pilot bearing seal before installing the clutch.

Call Shane at RotaryWorks he warrants them to be good. Even against coolant seals and so on. I got a good Jspec from him

Everyone laughs at buying a JSEPC, but it basically comes to ^^what he said^^
if the supplier is trustworthy then he will at least refund you or get you a good motor. I had no problems with my JSPEC and it still runs very strong! TRUE it is a gamble to buy one and i doubt my next experience will be the same, but if someone is willing to take the chance, then I say help em out. www.japanstarmotor.com. $1000 motor/tranny/turbo/intercooler shipped to your door. he'll pay for return shipping if the motor is bad, thats where i got mine.

I think (dont quote me on this), but i think u need a s5 flywheel, my re motor came with a RB aluminum flywheel, also my ACT clutch for my 87 tii bolted right on to it? BTW why do u wanna use the s4 intake on a cosmo? The cosmo TB is like way ****** bigger, and the manifolds flow a lot ****** better.

Whatever you do, do not order your engine from www.jspecautosports.com!!
Absolute **** engines from there, the one i got looked like it was dug up from under the ground! Second one i got since it was warrantied had a blown rear and they would'nt send me another one after that.
