Question Where does this O-ring go?

As part of the kit of seals, gaskets and o-rings supplied by the dealer to re-install a "re-man" engine I have this o-ring, and can't figure where it goes...

Part number: 9954-10-3501
description: o-ring (about 3mm thick and 40mm OD)

I checked the Mazdatrix price list and the PDF parts catalog at Mazdaformance but I can find it

Any ideas? Thanks

Off the top of my head, the gasket kit comes with o-rings for the MOP and 2 for the oil filter.

3mm and 40mm is much larger than a OMP or oil pedestal o ring. Thinking back....it could be the lower intake to block o ring. If you look at your lower intake, there should be 1 or 2 where the O ring sits. That's the only thing that I can think of in that size.
Others are either too small or too large.

To be certain contact the dealer and they will be able to find out. I have some copy of dealer parts microfisch, but, I can't find that number.

Yeah, I found the one that fits the MOP and the 2 for the oil filter standoff....

But this one is quite big...

I didn't see anywhere on the S5 engine where a o-ring was used for the lower intake manifold, I didn't see it shown in the FSM either

for turbo's. without o-ring you'll leak coolant alot.

it's for the turbo coolant line.

3mm x 40mm seems small for a crank angle sensor O-ring. You sure?? Well, it will either fit or it won't I guess.
