where did you get power...
Where did you get power for your FCD? I just got one from YearsOfDecay who was SUPER helpful, but I didn't know the one I was getting was powerless and needed a separate power line ran. SureShot said he ran one from the AAC or something. Where can I get ignition-on power in the engine bay easily? thanks

The diagnostic (initial set) connector right there at the strut tower has 12v power.
It's the single green spade jack.
In normal use it is grounded to signal the ECU for idle adjustment, but the FCD only draws a few milliamps, so the ECU will supply enough power without going into initilal set mode.
I have been running that way for 4 weeks.
My pressure sensor was intermittant and finally failed last month.
I put the FCD in before I really needed it to prevent a check code 18.
I plan to replace the pressure sensor & open up the exhaust this summer.

I'll rephrase since my post was misleading. You don't need to run another power wire to the FCD. All FCD's need 12V to work, but you can get that from the sensor's wires. There no need for a seperate power feed.
