where can I get cheap replacement mufflers?

I have an 88 TII with badly (almost non-existent) corroded mufflers. I looked online for replacement mufflers (OEM) and couldn't find them for less than $100 each. Anybody know where I can get mufflers for my car for cheaper? I wouldn't need to be OEM, i'd just rather not have to get it welded and put it on myself. And I don't want a coffee can muffler. I could get one welded on if I needed to but I'd rather not. Anyway, if you know where I can get some cheap mufflers, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

getting them welded on is a lot cheaper.. much cheaper than $100 each anyway... probably $60-70 for two OEM style replacement mufflers at a place like midas or any random muffler shop.

If you get something really cheap and generic, plan to spend more money in a few months. You need mufflers that can hold up to very high exhaust temperatures. This means buying stuff meant for rotary engines, no fiberglas and thicker parts, which won't burn out quickly.

If you get cheap or used OEM mufflers, you're going to spend more money doing it again soon. These cars are very old and OEM will not take you too far. Save a little more and buy a quality set . They are cheap if you look.
Check the "For sale" forum and Ebay.

I got a cheap set of bottle mufflers temporarily for 60 bucks canadian, very unrestrictive and sound decent for the price, but of course you'd have to use tips if your looking for something with a big 4 inch outlet

Even though they are from Canada, they were able to ship it to me (in So.Cali) in about 5 days. Very awesome people to deal with
