::HELP!!!:: This is REALLY weird...
ok, so here's my new problem. When my car is on, and the engine is off, my sunroof and windshield wipers work just fine. However, when the engine is running, neither work at all... anybody had this happen to them? and if so, how in the world did you fix it?!?

btw, see sig for type of car

Please, people, respond, even if you don't know what's wrong... and tell your real smart friends to take a look at this, I really want to get my wipers to work while the engine is running...

the voltage meter is at about 12 when the engine is running, and by "on" i mean, I turn the car on, but don't crank the engine and the stuff all works, so the car is "on" w/out the engine on

I replaced the alternator belt, and did a check on the voltage... it was about 12.5 when engine was off, and almost 14 when the engine was on... so now that seems to be ok, but now that that problem seems to have gone away, I have another problem... I'm running very ragged and will stall if the throttle is opened quickly...

sounds like a wiring problem from ignition, the FSM should be able to help you. you can get it from www.iluvmyrx7.com. i had a problem from my ignitin that would not turn my fuel pump on. turned out to be bad wires from the stock wiring harness. kinda sounds like you got a similar problem.

ok, i'll give that a try, also, were you having problems with your secondary's fireing (or not fireing, as the case may be) cause I have had that problem since I've had the car... I'm wondering if that could be another problem you had...

no the problem that i had was that the fuel pump was not getting any voltage, this is kinda strange because before this happened(same day) it seemed like my sec were not coming on or were clogged up(car was leaning out at boost), i always thought this was a sepret problem. i just used some injector cleaner and they appeared to work again.
keep in mind the wires used in rx7's suck ***! their very frail and always crack, i have had to rewire alot of things in my car.
if you know how to use a multimeter the fsm has alot of information on testing resistence on resistors and relays, which may be your problem.
i think i have become an expert on the rx7 electrical system from all the electrical problems i have had=)
