Where to buy a J-SPEC S5 turboII long block?

I'll be in the market for a jspec turbo II S5 long block in a few months, so I want to start my shopping now. This is gonna be for my supercharger project aka "PROJECT TORQUE" I know fc3s sells them but at the moment they dont have in stock, who else sells them that arent blown?

Why do you want to use a TII block? Just use your n/a 6port block with high comp rotors, the TII block will just be using low comp rotors and less port area overall. Sure the rotor housings don't have exhaust diffusers, but just open the engine up and grind those out, then port the motor.

I don't see why you'd wanna use a TII block, but oh well that's your choice I guess. At least use the higher compression n/a rotors if you're going to use the TII block.

Anyways, check ebay I see Jspecs popping up on there from time to time.

off topic.. you guys had good experiences with them? are theyre motors generally reliable? they dont mention compression testing the motors, and even though they reccomend them as a core for a rebuild... geez man. i just want to buy a motor!

There is more porting potential witha 4 port, and the intake ports flow beter. Theres a reason why mazda used 4 port motors for the turbo motors.

Also the reason why I want lower compression is because this is going in for my supercharger project. Lowercompression allows for higher boost. And the reason why I want a S5 is beacause I think the s4 rotors compression is too low. The s5 turbo rotors are a 9.0:1 compression ratio.

Anyway, who else besides fc3s? I want my options open here

Lower boost on higher compression will yield the same power as higher boost on lower compression.

I guess it doesn't matter if you have a certain power level in mind but for example if you used the higher compression rotors your power could be higher than the lower compression rotors, or you'd have to run less boost.

I guess it's just all in what you prefer.

What I don't understand is if you're going to all this trouble to get a TII block why supercharge it? Turbo will yield more power at less of a cost.

Also like I said, they pop up on ebay frequently, so I'd check there. There are a couple engine importers on this board too IIRC so search the 2nd gen parts section to see who has been selling engines and PM them.

well the main reason why I want to supercharge, is I want something different. Im going to buy a FD looks like september now or so, so I'll be having turbo frun with that. I want my first gen to be a completely different beast.
