I got the turbo to downpipe gasket from mazdatrix. It was expensive as hell for what it was.

sorry forgot to put that in there, they're gonna be corksport, corksport said they dont sell gaskets and told me to just go to a muffler/exhaust shop.

yea, I just checked the gaskets at mazdatrix, $50 for it wow... so now the question of... Do I need to replace the gasket between the turbo/downpipe when I put my corksport dp on ?

And, for you Corksport users, where did you get your gaskets since corksport doesn't supply them, or at least thats what they tell me.

I've gone from stock exhaust, to RP downpipe, to RB turbo back....still on the same gasket and it's fine so far <knocking on wood>. Too expensive to replace it unless it's completely failed.

If you're really in a pinch, you can use Wurth High Temp Flange Sealant. It's basically a higher temp version of the sealant that Porsche uses to seal its engine halves. As long as you have two relatively flat mating surfaces, you should be fine. This stuff cures in the absence of 02, so you dont have to worry about that. I've used it on a ton of older Supra's over the years, and I've yet to have this stuff fail.

Just my two cents.

You can go to the Wurth USA website and search around for it. I think it's called DOS sealant, and comes in a bunch of strengths. It may be a cheaper alternative to getting the gasgets when they fail.

I got a corksport 3 inch downpipe and ordered the gaskets from mazdatrix. The turbo to downpipe gasket is like 3-4 thin layer gasket that is sealed together around the inner rim.
