when can i boost after a rebuild?

hello guys, i have about 800 miles on my atkins s5TII reman motor. ~95psi of compression on front rotor, ~90psi on back rotor.

i am not 100% sure about how many miles i have one my rebuild because my speedo gear is broken inside my trans. i have been measuring the mileage by tanks of gas, rounding it DOWN (due to the low rebuild compression bad gas mileage) expecting to get ~200 miles from a tank of gas. i'm now almost finished with my 4th full tank of gas thinkin i've gone about 800 miles down. i have boosted a couple times just to see the condition of the turbo and seals, etc. it was under 5lbs of boost for probably 1 second at a time, all under 4k rpms.

my question is, since i am not 100% sure on the mileage, is there a certain PSI (or psi variation between the rotors) at which i can redline and boost normally?

Why not ask Atkins?
What are their warranty recommendations?

Just ask in the NW forum and you'd get a response from an Atkins person.

Rotary resurrection has a nice writeup for breaking in a rebuild, check out the site. Break-in procedures can differ from builder to builder meaning none of it is written in stone...nobody is "right" and nobody is "wrong." Do what you feel comfortable with on your motor. Some people like a bit of boost in the beginning and say it aids in sealing...some people say no boost at all for 1000 miles.
