I've heard that you can use studs from a ford mustang and that they're significantly longer. Not sure which year though (it might not even matter) Another choice might be shank style lug nuts that actually grab more of the tread. Only problem w/ those is that if you don't have hub centric rings, they're a major PITA!

STOP!!!

It's ARP studs for the late model Camaro/Corvette that you want. They're not too hard to change in the front, but in the rear you need to remove the hub. They have 2 lengths, the short ones are only a little longer in front, but a lot longer in the rear. Using the long ones in front should approximately even it out.

and why do you need longer studs?? if your planning on running spacers, dont. they are not rated for over 100 mph or hard driving.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.

I've not seen a spacer so far that's rated for any speed or use.

They're perfectly acceptable, and I know a guy whose used some ~1" spacers on his GT3 race car for years and years with no problems. The fact is that lots of people use them and there's very rarely any problems. Sure having wheels with the correct offset is better, but spacers are fine too.

These are the ones you want. I just put a full set on my '89. If you're not using spacers in the back you may need open-ended nuts.

Not to my knowledge, because I don't think there's any that have been specifically designed for our cars, but lots of auto parts stores sell ARP stuff, so they can bring it in, or there's places like Summit Racing and Jegs.

Are you sure you don't need tuner lug nuts? I wouldn't imagine a plain wheel without a spacer would have fitting issues.

yes the problem is that the rims are to thick and the holes are like 7/8 so i think im going to get the arp ones for the front and the regular front ones for the back.
