I have intrax spring (aprox 1.5 inch lower) and 17x7s all the way around with 235x17x40 in the back and 215x17x40 in the front the wheels have i think a 35-37 offset

no rubbing... i wish i would tried to fit 225s up front

I got those intrax's too, anyhow, if you think you are gonna rub get a smaller series sidewall, i.e profile. I've seen 20's b4 on a lowered rex but it was using 30 or smaller series tires, might have been like 25 or something.......It's like this, wheel gets bigger, tire gets smaller. Call your local shop and they will work with you. I have the benefit of having my stepdad own a wheel and tire wholesale business, Yeah WheelCity!!!! $38 for tires!!!! WAN LI's rule!!!!

lol I bet I run the widest tire up front on an FC here 245/35/17...........no fender flares and they dont stick out, now thats wheel/tire fitment!! that way I can rotate a whole set of 245s. I also have tockio 5 ways and intrax springs. the 245s fit on the stock suspension too

235's on 17x7's is nothing. The guy that had my RX7 had 235's on the stock phone dial's
Back on track, I would suggest 16 or 17 inch rims in 7.5 or 8 inch width. And lower it about 1 inch (ground control coil overs)

i'm looking for something not as wild, the car will be setup for drifting...so $$$ is tire problem too. a tire size that is more popular would be better. deff. going with 17's though not more then an 1'' drop..maybe a 1.5''

OMG, if your going to brag about having big tires on your FC, at least tell us what width rim you have and what offset your using. I had planned on putting 245's all the way around on SSR Comps 17x8's but didn't want to do it until I was sure of the offset I needed. Let us know.

Have you checked on the width and offset yet? I'd like to know too.

can't go much wider than a 235 on a 7 inch wheel (or u shouldn't at least). I have 17X7's and run 215/45 front 235/45 rear...pretty much the standard staggered size for 17's on an FC
