Wheel problem

Hey everybody, I'm trying to track tune a stock SE 4 lug car. Most of the work is done, except for teh wheels. Every wheel dealer I contact or go to says the same thing, they don't have a four lug wheel that fits the ofset. My question is are there SE adapters that will allow me to fit a 5X114.3, 4X114.3, or 4X100 offset. This will really help, as the stock tires for the stock 14' wheels only go H rating and they squeak all the time and have very little grip. Thanks.

You must be trying to stick some big rubber under there. If you can not find a company that supply’s a setup in the offset you need for the size rims and tires you will have to bump up to the bettor companies like HRE that custom build all rims to order. These type of company’s run on average 4k with tires for 17s so brace yourself but you will get the job done.

Yep, your best bet is to do the 5-lug conversion. It is more work up front, but its almost your only option for aftermarket wheels. Also, you can get the far superior vented brakes.

Motegi makes a wheel that will fit and allow wider rubber.

If you're looking for 17x7, I believe many cheaper wheel manufacturers make them. Brands like ADR, RSL (part of ADR), Excel (wheelmax house brand), along with many others, all should make a 17x7, with 8 hole option, meaning it will fit 4x114.3, and 4x100, which is a popular bolt pattern for Civics and Integra crowds. Most of those wheels come in 40mm offset, which should fit just fine.

what is involved in the 5-lug conversion? is it just the hubs, brakes, or does the entire front suspension have to be changed out like on an S13?
