Whats it worth?

I found this 89 N/A Vert over at the dealer. And it is is Mint condition from what i could tell.. i dident get to drive it.. But hopefully today i will try. its a 5 speed i dont know how many miles it has on it.. What do u think i should offer on it if it turns out good? My parents bouth there Honda odyssey from them and they gave us a awesome deal. The went down like 2 thousand from there original asking price.. they are asking 5888 for the Rex. And like i dont really know anything about the N/A's Are they pretty slow or what?
Im getting all excited cuz i havent really seen anything arond here scence i had to give up my T2.

Convertables hold their value alot more than any other FCs usually. Check out the blue book value of it in your area ( www.kbb.com ) You will need to know the miles of the car, and then go take it for a test drive, try everything out, make sure it runs well, etc. The 'verts are very nice cars...but unfortunately are about the slowest FC made, due to the weight.

careful on how much you pay - if your a do it yourselfer, you can buy a beat up one cheap, dump 4K into it and have a top notch ride. Again, keep in mind I can do all of the work myself.

Way way way way too much for it. You could get a nice modded TII that will run with a Corvette for that price.

That makes no sense. You can get a speeding ticket in anything. Acceleration has nothing to do with it...I can go 100 mph in a Buick station wagon too. Unless you got a ticket for racing, then your parents are crazy IMHO don't waste your money on the Vert.

Where? I never see any nice ones for that cheap, only beaters.

The price is reasonable, I don't know about AZ, but RX-7 convertibles go for $6-8k easily here.

Not to mention I got my TII for $1000 from someone I found on the forum. Has great compression and runs perfectly after a few adjustments. You just have to look around.

First one sold for more than original asking price, second is a beater.

The last three I sold were all $8k+

Those were mint.

I sold my beat up one with $4k worth of damage for $6k.

They'll sell for more than you expect.
