Hey Guys, a friend of mine has a 91 savanna with a smoking problem.

It smokes on and off time to time and only on idle?
He has changed the oil metering pump 3 time now thinking its that.
Also the car is not using up oil like you would think if somthing like a oil controll ring seal gone?
Turbo is all good to.

Any ideas will be a great help.

what color smoke?...and does it smoke while idling periodically or while idling right after startup?
