whats the differenve between the JDM s5 tail lights and the USDM s5 tail lights?

No, in the US they use the same on convertables as in Europe. Almost... You will see the US ones wil have DOT on the the lens, Euro ones don't. They have the E mark.

I got the JDM tail lights because I needed the smaller licence space, and they where easier to get than US ones. (Good condition that is).
