whats the differenve between the JDM s5 tail lights and the USDM s5 tail lights? i seen pics of both and they pretty much look the same...the only different i found is the the "J" before the "DM" and the price.
thats a new one to me..... i have both, jdm and usdm...... they looked identical.... so....sorry about me being wrong!! it happens from time to time... lol... but i am gonna look into that one!! cause the jdm ones fit perfect on my usdm 7!!

There is no difference. Anyone who tries to sell "JDM" taillights for a more than US ones is either an ignorant fool or a thieving liar. Don't be conned into paying extra. Even if they did actually come off a Japanese FC, there's absolutely nothing about them that justifies a higher price.
now the JDM S4 lights have a cool Turbo Rotary badge/sticker on them.
but like everyone says, the JDM S5 lights are exactly the same as the North American spec. Just the same generic round T-bird based lights

i agree, i wanted to see one in flat black, that is really clean. i started primering my car because of rust and peeling paint. i might do flat black but i haven't decided because my car is white and changing the color is a pain with the engine bay etc. nice car man

i only posted that because thats what i was told by a fellow rx7 owner. i never really had the chance to see for myself so i wont argue. i think anyone that would waste 200-300 hundred on a pair of taillights (unless they are needed as a replacement) is dumb, after all they are just taillights

the license plate bracket is also larger, there is no space after the reverse lights like a us one, our license plates arent that big. so the lights themselves arent as wide.

convertible lights have a keyhole on the passenger side lens housing though.
I wonder if those euro light cars have a different light switch?
I know the Mercedes and some other cars have a position on the switch for turning on that one red light only.
