Question What's the difference between these rebuild kits?

Hi, I am new to rotary's and am looking for one atm. I have heard that I should include a rebuild kit as part of my budget for an rx7. When looking at rebuild kits from a local place (Atkins Rotary), I couldn't understand the difference and why the prices are so different. Could anyone please explain the difference to me? Would be much appreciated.

What use case are they each for, and how do I know which one to get, in case of a rebuild.

In a nutshell, both kits are intended for rebuilding the same series 5 (89-91) 13BT motor, but the less expensive of the 2 kits lacks all the "hard" seals (e.g., apex, side seals & corner seals), which are included with the more expensive kit.

You can reuse corner seals, side seals, oil control rings, oil control ring springs, and side seal springs if they are in good shape. Just try to keep them organized on a piece of cardboard with a rotor drawn on them saying "front" and "back" and make sure they move freely in the grooves, but not too much gap. Now is also a good time to replace vacuum lines and fuel injector seals.

$195 - 8AF5-10-271A
$36 - ARE93 (You dont HAVE to replace these... But you should)
$40 - ARE15
$34 - ARE85
$216 - ARE132
$8 - ARE50 (You don't HAVE to replace this, but you should)

Total $485 - $529

I cringe when I see people paying $1000 + for the expensive rebuild kits that have bearings and all that in them when 9 times out of 10 you can reuse most internal parts, unless your going high horsepower or are a shop owner and want to have piece of mind.
