BCU problem? high beams/seat belt light
Ok..here are my symptoms on a 90 convertible..
1) About a week ago my high beams quit working. I checked the high/low switch and it checked ok.
2) Yesterday I started getting the seatbelt light flashing and a beep if I had the key on and seat belt not fastened. I have never had this before. It goes off when I buckle up.
3) Last nigt, out of habit, I tried to turn on the high beams and they actually came on! They stayed on for about a minute, and then kicked off and then the seat belt light came on. No beeping/flashing, just light on. I turned the high beams on again and the seatbelt light simultaniously went off... 30-60 seconds later they went back to low and the seatbelt light came on again!
Any ideas of the likely culprit? Has anybody had this happen to them?
