What's the deal with the fake rear speaker grills in a vert?

Do some models actually have speakers back there? Am I missing something in this car? There appears to be some sort of framework I'm missing for the spare tire...

Verts have speakers in the doors, head rests and below/behind the seats. Special integrated amp/speaker unit behind the seats, and another amp unit where the storage bin is on the drivers side.

Behind the seats in this car has grilles, but no speakers or wiring to them inside the spare tire well. There appears to be a missing frame piece to that the spare tire is supposed to mount to. It does have the amp.

Only support for the spare tire is the main frame for it and the bolt to hold it in. On both sides you have the plastic frames to hide the top motors and shock towers. On the drivers side you have one extra piece of metal framing for the top system. When I recover more from shoulder surgery I will take and post some pics up for you. Or look through the FSM and parts fiche for stuff too.

So, I take it that I am missing these parts... L and R sides.

Also found the bracing I am missing. I imagine a neglectful P.O. ripped it out by the spot welds for a subwoofer or something. I dont see the speakers in this shot though...
