Seat Question
I have an 88vert with cloth seats. I am thinking about upgrading to the leather seats with the headrest speakers It appears the wiring and connectors are there for the speaker controls and below the seat for the seat speaker. I see another amp listed in one of the manuals - Can I just install the seats and speaker control and have everything work properly? What should a seat of leather seats in good condition run about?
Thanks
Thanks

I was under the assumption all verts had the headrest speakers.
There is an amp, located right behind the drivers seat, in the spare tire area. You have to pull the rear cover off, then look right on the "wall" directly behind the drivers seat inside that spare tire area. If you see a silver box, the amp is already there. Do you not have the volume controls for the speakers in the center console?
You will have to check that all the wiring for the speaker controls and AMP is in the car to begin with. If there isn't any wiring for either of those things, it will be much harder to do. I just sold a headrest speaker amp to my buddy with a vert. I really believe those headrest speakers are horrible, but thats just me. I am actually looking for a non-vert center console now and non headrest speaker seats to replace my current stuff.
If all that stuff is there (wiring for amp, seats, and volume), which I would assume it should be since it IS a vert, and you still have the factory stereo (pioneer), then and only then I can assure you it will all work.
