I have a Turbonetics 60-1 with a custom built manifold and the thing puts down 309 hp to the wheels at 6PSI. I still haven't taken the boost to 14PSI, but I'm thinking its gonna be a beast!!!!!

i am looking for a new turbo and for my series 5 t2. I want a turbo that will spool quick enough to be going around a corner at pretty much full booste. I think if i have 2 big of a turbo i will get traction problems due to spooling during the corner......inform me more and tell me what size turbo would be good for a rode course car.....

My local buddy setzep has the td07-25G. I have not ridden in cars with all of those listed turbos, but setzep's car seems perfect on the street.

how much does a T04E go for right now $$$. also what else is needed to get it to run on our cars. Also is the T04E a good turbo in the sense of reliability. i got no money and the lasty thing i need is to get a turbo without a good sized life span. Help me out.

Holy Crap! This post is O-L-D.... from '02!

Custom setup all the way, all the GReddy/HKS etc kits are WAY overpriced IMO for the performance.

Damn my thread came back alive. The T04E goes pretty cheap nowadays. I got my HKS T04E kit from a good friend in japan when he came back from Okinawa for 800 bucks. That included the manifold, wastegate, downpipe and turbo of course...its a steal. Your also gonna need upgraded secondary injectors, a upgraded intercooler and a ems to control them or some sort of fuel controller. But im sure most people sell them from 1000-1500. Any turbo is reliable as long as you take care of it (use a filter, dont boost the hell out of it everyday etc).

Whoops, didnt mean to bring it back alive again...LOL.
