I personnally like that fisher price model which was on Ebay for some time.

The whole thing is lightweight plastic and can push 1200 cfm at maximum speed. The electric motor is a Wonton and will last past the life of your car. No intercooler is needed for this setup cause it really adds nothing to performance.

Now those fake whister blow off valves... Thats where the big boys get their power!

Depends on what kind of driving you want to do.
If you're track racing, you'd want a different turbo than if you're drag racing...

The T04 seems to be used by a lot of people, though.

A custom set up with a TO4 series 60-1 or 62-1 will flow enough for +/- 400hp and is very popular. You need to decide how you want your poweri.e. evilrotors question) because the turbine housing and wheel trim will determine this. Check out the single turbo section for help on the character of each one of the kits above and custom set ups. The Greddy kits are excellent and the TD-07 is a 400+ hp set up but at a higher rpm. The TD-06 is faster spool, more usable power for the street but has about a 400 limit. The other two are close to the TD-06.

When did GReddy release a TD07 kit for the FC?
Most of those kits are overpriced.&nbsp Bulding one from scratch is probably cheaper...

I was thinking about it! but every one i'v talked with will not recommend it! Greddy is nice! but there turbo's are all on the small side. My good friend has a TD06-20G on his all-trac celica (same motor as turbo mr-2) and makes 324 FWHP on the dyno @ 20psi with race gas!

You would be better off buying a Turbonetics 60-1 HIFI for $700 bucks and HKS manifold/ wastgate.

I've seen about 3 posts in the last month that asks about the blitz k27, but noone has given any info or opinions on it... I guess not many people use it due to its price, maybe other reasons?

I noticed its the same turbo used on their supra and FD single turbo kit. What sized turbo is it comparable to? what horsepower is it capable of? what rpm would you see full boost on a streetported motor? If anyone knows, thanks

I want a Garrett TO4E with a 60-1 compressor and a P-trim turbine. Unsure of the A/R on the hotside yet, I'm thinking a .6 or maybe a .7 on the compressor.

Yea Ive posted so many times but I never get any responses out of the Blitz K27 turbo and the Greddy TD-07 25G. I think no matter how many posts we do we will never know about these turbos. The only way we will know is if someone is the guinea pig and does it. I know Soul Assasin responded saying the TD-07 25G is more of a track turbine but I would personally like to see someones numbers and what they think about the TD-07(other than Amemiya's 466 ps) and the Blitz K27.

Garrett T60-1 .70 compressor 1.00 A/R (hotside Great for auto-x, drag'n, and still streetable and its putting out around 390-440rwhp, depending on boost (15-20psi).....When I rebuild this someday I'll go to a 1.15 A/R on a T60-1 or move to a T62-1.

I was going to run a T-66 but 90% of the custom manifolds I've seen don't last, so I figured I'd play it safe....The HKS tangential manifold is really nice and made well.

I hope so. Looking for a little more power than a 60-1 but with great spool.

What turbo? The one I currently have is just a hybrid, so it was bolt on to my stock manny. The turbo I posted is the one I plan to get in the near future. Probably the next 6 months. It will require a t4 divided manifold of some sort, an external wastegate, and a custom downpipe. Plus the misc oil/coolant lines.
